Site NewsUnbelievable, but true: Our friends at Joker.com let our domain lapse without even a notice. Once the domain lapses, they charge an absolute fortune to return it to reactivate it, so we switched registrars (give the folks over at http://domains.2rosenthals.com a big round of applause), and waited for the domain to fully expire. This evening, we recieved the good news that everything was back up. in a day or so, you should be able to reach us from our two aliased domains, liwirefree.net and liwirefree.com.

Welcome back!

Some analysts say the healthcare situation affects the ability of startup companies to find the best workers, impeding U.S. innovation. Our life expectancy is shorter than that of citizens in Canada, Japan, and all but one Western European country. With workers’ wages growing at a much slower pace than health care costs, many face difficulty in affording out-of-pocket spending. There is a worthy national concern over health care costs, as they are the cause of 6 of every 10 bankruptcies, and send a lot of people running for payday loans. However, despite the concerns and actions of Congress, it's estimated that the cost of health care is going to increase over the next few years. The hitch in health care reform is that the impetus seems to be throwing money at the problem, rather than finding out the cause of high cost – and any doctor will tell you that you have to treat the disease before the symptoms.
